Icebike

I come home from work and see my husband was looking at the Icebike home page. I know he is addicted to riding his bike and rides in the snow if the roads are dry, but I think he is starting to cross the threshold of delerium. You may think cycling to work saves money on fuel, but I assure you every dollar saved is spent on cycling gear so he can look and feel great. It's all about staying in shape and loving it. Please feel free to leave your comments.

How far away is work? I don't think Cameron would be up for doing that...he would need to start with baby steps like riding around the block first. Oh, and he would probably need a bike.

It is 15 miles round trip. Andy rides his bike every chance he gets. You should hear the way he talks when he hasn't ridden his bike for a day or two, you'd think the world was ending. He has an addiction to cycling.

He probably saves more than you think when he is riding his bike. I am sure just by living in the Barracks and riding less than 1 mile each way I am sure I save atleast 1-2 tanks of gas each month and yet he rides 30 miles a day or more. That is probably atleast $30 a week depending on your car. But maybe he is still spending all the saved money on bike stuff. The real question is how much fine tuning he does on his own. Sure I plan to save money that way, just to spend it on bike parts and tools, but then I can save more money on the tuning and tune your bike as well. The next thing I need is a work stand. Tuning gears is the hardest thing to do with out one. I am guessing Andy doesn't have one of those yet either?
